also also seeing fame < infamy live is like. a pivotal life moment now. always been one of my absolute faves, and I hoped they would do it as the 8 ball song, but they have so many tunes, and I didn’t want to get too attached to one specific song. so when Pete was talking to the magic 8 ball and asked “is there... too much green... to feel blue?” I didn’t even process what was happening until the unbelievable intro to the song starts. I looked at my friend, who loves that song as much as I do, maybe even more, and we just screamed “OH MY GOD THEY’RE DOING IT” and hugged when they finished and yelled and cried and just. oh my god. didn’t even realize it was the live debut until later. i’m still in shock. unbelievable

i was so overcome with emotion today i cried my eyes out in a parking lot before hitting the highway, but not even because i feel sad…like im sure the sadness will hit me later that it’s over and 2ourdust in general is Over, but that was probably the happiest cry i’ve ever had in my fucking life about how fall out boy even remembered what somerset went through and CARED enough to make it up to us by giving us the most insane best show fucking ever last night ☹️❤️❤️❤️❤️ fall out boy forever and ever and ever and ever and ever if you even care

I cannot believe the long weekend I just had... Loki themed dance night at the local kink friendly night club on Friday, Fall Out Boy concert of the decade on Saturday, then Sunday night was a last minute decision to drive 550 miles to see the total solar eclipse and back, by myself, no hotels, just a 3 hour nap at a rest stop in Wisconsin on the way there and a detour to visit Trixie Mattel's bar in Milwaukee on the way back. Got home very late last night and I'm still kind of processing everything. While I do that, I'm going to be posting a lot while catching up and setting up a more frequent queue, so be warned lmao

I see you all exploding over all the 8 balls at the minneapolis show and I want you to know that yes it was amazingly bonkers but also I need you to know that before they went into the 8balls they specifically brought up the Sommerset show (2023, massive lightning storm cut their set short). And after seeing their dedication to making that as good as it could be I really do think that they went extra all-out on this finale as a final make-up session for it

so I was at the disaster of a concert that was Fall Out Boy in Somerset this past Thursday and it was truly the most chaotic concert I've ever been too in my life. Everything was fine up until BMTH finished (incredible set btw my first time seeing them after being a few for quite a few years) when a storm hit and the venue was evacuated. We made it back to our car just before it started downpouring and was constantly refreshing social media for about an hour and half.. losing all hope it was going to continue. Then at like 10:30 pm people outside around us started cheering and I knew immediately what it meant. So we all ran to gates. The venue tried to rescan our tickets but the show had already started with half the crowd stuck behind the gates. So they let us all in anyway. Running to the stage singing "love from the otherside" was magical ngl. a core memory unlocked. We pushed our way through the crowd to the pit by the time the Phoenix started (we had pit tickets dont come for me). While I'm upset I didn't get to hear my favorite songs (disloyal order and Hum hallelujah) I'm so grateful to have heard fame < infamy live for the first time ever!!!!!!!! Incredible! Im glad they were able to at least play some sort of show for us. I hadn't seen them in 9 years so I was looking forward to this for the whole year, but mother nature had other plans I guess.

okay I was at the delayed/shortened Fall Out Boy show in Somerset, Wisconsin and when I tell you I was so worried the changed setlist was not going to include Headfirst Slide, maybe my favorite song of theirs and a big reason I decided to go to the concert… I was stressed!! But when they started playing it I screamed in a way I haven’t screamt since the FOB shows I went to when I was 16!! I had a full body experience!! If you saw me in that moment no you didn’t!!!

Lemme tell you they were fuckin BOOKING it through this setlist because the crowd had to spend a full hour trapped in our cars because of a thunderstorm, fighting for cell service to keep up with notifications on whether the whole thing would be cancelled or not. It was INSANE! But I’m glad my group at least did stick it out because I would have hated to miss this!
